Reception Held At Puposky for Newly Wed CoupleA wedding reception for Mr. and Mrs. Dennis C arpenter, nee Sandra Johnson, was held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Puposky. Saturday, April 18. The couple was recently married by the Rev. T. J. Weltzin. T heir attendants were Fenny Carpenter and Duane Mueller.Mrs Maynard Westgaard, sister of the groom, cut the three-tier wedding cake baked bv the bride's aunf. Mrs. Wendell Knutson. Mrs. LloydSchummer, aunt of the bride and Debbie Workman, cousin of the bride, served the punch; Krma Ward poured coffee; Nancy Baumgart, aunt of the bride and Vicky Knutson, cousin of the bride arranged the gifts. Becky Westgaard. niece of the bride registered the guests.The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Kathleen Johnson of Anoka and is a nurse's aide at the Bemidji hospital. The groom, son of A1 Carpenter of Brmidji, is presently serving in the U. S. Marine Corps.Out of town guests were the bride’s mother and her four brothers of Anoka, Mr. and Mrs. James Carpenter of Minneapolis, cousin of the groom.
