May 8, at 8:00 ;a M. by Rev. David Duesing, jOS B.The bride’s gown was of brocaded satin teatmed with a drop-shoulder | effect and long sleeves tapering to points over the hands The skirt fell into a long, graceful train She t wore a fingertip veil edged in lace and a double strand of pearls, gift of the groom. She carried an arm bouquet of bride's roses tied with white satin streamersThe bridesmaid. Miss Alice Demuth. sister of the bride, and the junior bridesmaid, Miss Helen Demuth. also a sister of the bride, wore identical gowns of pink net over taffeta. They wore blue headdresses and carried arm bouquets of pink roses with blue satin streamers. They wore single strands of pearls, gifts of the brideRichard Verkamp. brother of the groom, seived as best man. Othmaar Demuth. brotther of the bride, was chauffeur.The mothers of the bridal couple wore corsages of white carnations with their costumes.Dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents for the immediate families. Reception followed at 2 o'clock at the D of I Hall at Ferdinand for relatives and friends.The couple left on a short wedding trip to parts undisclosed.Mrs. Verkamp has been employed by the General Electric Company at Huntingburg.Mr. Verkamp is employed at the Ferdinand Furniture Company.
