Rickel, oi‘ Cedar Rapids, were married, the ceremony being performed by the Itev. II. W. Rennett, pastor ofthe 31. 33. Church. A largo number of invited guests wore present, and the wedding gifts were numerous, valuable and appropriate. The Times oliicu acknowledges the reception of generous samples of the wedding feast, and hereby tender hearty thanks for xbe kindly remembrance. The groom is a son of Mr. T. G-. Newman, well known to our citizens. lie grew up in our midst from boyhood to manhood, and was ever among our best boys and most energetic, industrious and capable vouug men. Leaving this city he went to Chicago, where lie has since been connected with bis lather in the publication of the Bee Journal. Tho bride is the daughter of the Hon. Henry Rickel Rsq., late of West Union, but for the past two years a resident of our city. She is highly esteemed by all who know her, a lady of culture and refinement, and those who know her best think Mr. Newman u highly-favored person in securing so grand n priise.
