W.Powell and Miss Ida Hall ol this city were issued. The fact that Miss Hall was one of the first persons born In what is now the cJW o£ Albert I^ea, and had passed all the years of her youug life here, known by everybody and beloved by ail, gave the event a peculiar interest, arid society was 011 the qui tHve in Its anticipation. The invitations included almost all die leading citizens, a large share being old settlers and old friends of the bride and her parents.The ceremony was set lor 8 o’clock In the evening, and shortly before that hour the guests began to arrive* until the large and elegant parlors of the Hall House were filled with the elite of the city, brlugiup together the most brilliant assemblage and the 15nest array of toilets ever seen in Albert Lea, many of which were superbly elegant. The time intervening before the ceremony was spent in examining the splendid array of beautiful and useful presents from friends far and near which were displayed on the piano in the rear parlor. They took their places on the north side of the main parlor, and Itev R. B. Abbott in an impressive | manner performed the solemn ceremony which joins their young lives together while both shall live. Then came the congratulations which were warm and heartfelt and this gave Jenkins the opportunity to briefly examine f with his ey es, of course v the clresses. Tb e wed -ding dress of the bride was a beautiful combination of white satin and white .slik, with Jace veil ami orange blossoms, which became her well. The bridesmaids wore blue silk trimmed with vrjiltr-. in which they were too sweet for anything. The gentlemen wore the regulation black.After tin'congratulations the party retired to the dining room where elegant refreshments were served hi great abundance.
