Miss Loretta Wade Is Bride of Mr. JohnsonMias Loretta Wade and John Tommy Johnson exchanged wedding vows in an April 30 afternoon ceremony at Cedar Springs Baptist Church. The Rev. Truitt Anderson of Gilmer, unde of the groom, officiated.Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wade and Mr. and Mrs. Jasper R. (Bill) Johnson of Pasadena, and grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Jordan.Francis Griffin of Pasadena was the maid of honor. She was tossed in a floor-length light blue chiffon over blue taffeta, and she carried a long-stemmedwhite carnation with blue ribbon streamers.Carla Wade, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. She was dressed in a floor-length light blue knit with a white lace blouse and carried a long stemmed blue carnation with white ribbon streamers.The flower girl was Cheryl Disheroon, who was dressed in a floor-length, white lace over white knit and carried a white woven basket with blue and white streamers and filled with white petals.Hershell Johnson of Pasadena, brother of the groom, served as best man, Gary Griffin of Pasadena was groomsman. Ushers were Archie Wade of Arlington, cousin of the bride, and Michael Jordan, Sr., uncle of the groom. The ushers also were the candlelighters. The ring bearer was Michael Jordan, Jr., cousin of the groom.The bride was given in marriage by her father, Fred Wade. She wore a white satin floor-length dress, with a bodice overlaid in white lace and decorated in seed pearls. The bride carried a bouquet of blue and white carnations, baby’s breath with blue and white long streamers of ribbon tied in love knots.The altar area of the church was decorated with an archway of ivy and blue and white bows on each side of the archway was a candelabra with seven white candles the candelabra, also decorated in ivy and blue and white bows and streamers.The wedding music was furnished by Mrs. Fayrene Green, who was also dressed in a blue floor-length dress, and wore a white carnation corsage.The birde’s mother chose a blue floor-length dress and wore a white carnation corsage.The groan’s mother chose a floor-length pink nylon over pink satin and wore a whitecarnation corsage.As the bride went down the aisle with her father, she stopped and presented each mother with a kiss and a long stemmed red rose.A reception was held in the Fellowship Hall. The bride’stable was covered with a white lace over a blue doth, anddecorated with a centerpiece of a double wedding ring with twokissing angels. On each side was a crystal candle holder entwined with blue flowers and greenery, and blue and whiteribbons with two white candles. A silver punch bowl of 1906 and a matching silver set was used. A five-tiered white wedding cake with white swans and blueroses had white bells between the columns. The bride and groom on top of the cake had an archway of white roses entwined with a white bell in the center. Mints of blue and white roses and assorted nuts were served in a matching silver setThe groom’s table was covered with matching white lace table cloth over a blue doth. The groom’s cake was a chocolate cake in the shape of two wedding bells with two white doves facing each other.A basket of blue flowers was the centerpiece, also matching silver service was used to serve the coffee. Mrs. Fayrene Green served the wedding cake and Mrs. Grace Masters served thewhite wedding punch at the bride’s table. At the groom’s table Mrs. Michael Jordan, Sr.,t aunt of (lie groom, served the coffee, and the groom’s grandmother, Mrs. Morgan Jordan, served the groom’s cake.Out-of-town guests attending the wedding and reception were Amber Watson, Mrs. Patty Grass and children of Gilmer; Mr. and Mrs. Archie Wade of Arlington; Mr. and Mrs. Gary Berry of Gilmer; Rev. and Mrs. Truitt Anderson of Gilmer andMrs. Jewell Berry of Gilmer; Rev.
