Vows Unite Richardson-ShadrickA candlelight ceremony united Connie Maria Richardson and Calvin Jessie Shadrick Jr. in marriage April 25 at Southport Assembly of God. Rev. Coleman York performed the 8 p.m. ceremony.The bride’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Fred Richardson of Southport. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. W.P. Nixon of Chipley and Mr. and Mrs. Aden Richardson of Southport.The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Calvin J. Shadrick Sr., also of Southport.Tal Richardson, brother of the bride, soloists, and Gayle Stucky, pianist, performed the couple’s chosen musical selections for the ceremony.The bride was given in marriage by her fatherLangston Echols To WedMr. and Mrs. Wilbur E. Langston of Choctaw Beach have announced the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Soyna Louise Langston to Daniel T. Echols, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Echols of Panama City.The bride-elect is a graduate of Freeport High School, attends O.W.J.C. in Niceville and is presently employed by the 3201 Security Police at Eglin Air Force Base.Her fiance also graduatedwearing a floor length gown of white voile eyelet featuring a Victorian neckline enhanced by two rows of voile eyelet lace and a bluesatin bow at the collar. The sleeves were of Juliet style and the midriff waistline led down to a full chapel train skirt which wasenhanced by a ruffle edge with tiny blue satin bows. Her chapel length veil was of white illusion trimmed in brocaded lace. She carried a bouquet of white and yellow daisies with red rosebuds and blue carnations.Jody Benefield served the bride as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Angi Holley, sister of the bride, and Pam Isenberg.David Upfold served as best man.
