Miss Carolyn Robb Is Wed toDanny BallewMiss Carolyn Kay Robb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald L. Robb, Route 2, Higbee, became the bride Saturday night of Daniel Richard (Danny) Ballew, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ballew, Higbee.Wilbur Calico It of Hannibal, Baptist minister, read the double ring ceremony in the Higbee Christian Church before an arrangement of white gladioli and candlelabra.Mrs. Donald Hudson, Higbee, played traditional nuptial selections.Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a street-leng’.h dress of white lace over organza fashioned on empire lines. The long, fitted sleeves were accented with bows and her veil of silk illusion was held in place by a white satin bow, She carried a cascade bouquet of white daisies.MjSS Linda Lou Robb, sister of the bride, was maid-of-honor. She chose * street-length empire styled dress of aqua knit, with a short matching colored veil and headpiece. She carried a nosegay of yellow and white daisies.Benny L. rfallew, Kansas City, served his brother as best man.Ushers were James Kendall, Higbee, cousin of the bride, and Steven Robinson, Moberly, nephew of the bridegroom.Miss Rita Kendall, cousin nf the bride, was candlelighler.For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Robb chose a dress styled on the A-line of aqua knit with a matching coat. Mrs. Ballew wore a yellow knit dress with matching accessories. Both mothers had corsages to match their ensembles.A reception followed the ceremony in the home of the bride's parents for 50 guests. The bride's table was centered with a three-tiered wedding cake and decorated with anarrangement of daisies and candles. Assisting with the reception were Mrs. Gary Robb,cousin of the bride, and Mrs. Wilbur Calicott, Hiabee, and Ba Mrs. Jim Robinson, Moberly. pj Miss Rita Kendall was in charge mj of the guest book. beMrs. Ballew is a 1968 graduate of the Higbee High School and is employed by Southwestern wi Telephone Company, Moberly. ho Mr. Ballew, also a graduate of \9 the Higbee High School, eom-: pletcd basic training with the m United Stales Army at FL. m Leonard Wood, May 1, and will st be stationed at Ft. Carson, Colo., upon his return to duty. Wasson, president , of the Missouri State Parent- J Teacher Congress, will be in Moberly Tuesday to lead a School of information for all new |PTA officers and anyone else who is interested. ^The school will be held in Room 120 of the Moberly High ,School. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m., and the School will abe called to order at 10 ajm.Lunch will be served at the ^high school at noon for 40 cents.
