)Attendants Wear Rainbow Hues at Nuptial CeremonyRainbow hucd gowns were selected py the bridal attendants for the wedding on Sunday, May 2, of Miss Mildred Kampe, daughter or Mr, and Mr*. Henry Kampt of Ttalcy Park, and Herbert Niet-leldt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nietleldt of Homewood, which wassolemnized at the Cooper* GroveLutheran church at 2:20 p. m.Officiating in the, double ring Ceremony were the Rev, Frank Treskow, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church at Sieden Prairie, who heard the vows, and the pastor of the church, the Rev, Henry Meyer who gave the address. The altar was banked with palms and bouquets of lilacs and snapdragons.Preceding the bride to the altar were Miss Bernice Kampe of Tin-ley Park, the maid of honor, in peach marquisette *ar.d lace, carrying blue carnations which matched her headpiece; and the other attendance, Miss Mildred Sleinborn of Frankfort, m pale green marquisette and lace and carrying deep pink carnations; Mrs, Lorraine Nieifeldt of Hazel Crest, in orchid marquisette with yellow carnations; Mrs. Helen Nie-meyer of Ortand Park, in yellow with ^orchid carnations; and Mrs. Luclla Ytinker of Mokena, in blue with pale pink carnations. All wore matching floral crowns.Frederick Nietfeldt served his brother as best man. The other attendants were Melbura Kampe of Tinlcy Park, Oscar Nieifeldt of Hazel Crest, Luther Hilger of Eagle Lake, and Norman Kampe of Mat-teson, Ushers were Marvin Kampe, brother of the bride, and Gilbert Nieifeldt, cousin of the bridegroom.Dressed as a miniature of the bride was three-yeaV-old Lolita Blume, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Blume of Matteson, who carried a bouquet of white roses and lilies. Young Harold Mir-; qiiardt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis | Marquardt of Matteson* served as nng bearer.Richard Hiilger of Eagle Lake,11 presided at the organ and accom-ijpanied Wilbur Sievers of Chicago t i who sang l*Because” and *‘Oh Fer-s fect Love.”Entering ihe sanctuary on the arm of her father, the bride was gowned in heavy slipper satin trimmed with seed pearls and bugle beads and cut with a long sweeping tram. Her full length veil of illusion adorned with lace medallions wa» caught to her harr with a crown of beads and pearls. She carried starlight roses and calla lilies grouped about two natural orchids.Following the ceremony a dinner was served to fia guests ai Saenger hall m Tin ley Park. Five hundred guests were present at the reception held that evening. Later the couple left on their wedding trip. They will spend three weeks in California.The 'bride has been employed at WbHand Brothers Camera shop in Blue Island, The bridegroom, a graduate nf Thornton township high school, is an army veteran, and is employed at Ihe Flintkole rompany in Chicago Heights. They will reside on 153rd street, Tlntey Park.
