Mancie Owe* Docketed a* AgedWhistler Man Is Hurt •Mancie Owes. negro, truck driver for R. H. Stephens and company of Dauphin street, was docketed at the county jail yesterday afternoon by Deputy John H. Moore on a charge of reckless driving in connection with an accident that resulted in injuries to W. B. Browning, 75. of Whistler A truck operated by Owes is alleged to have sides wiped a horse and wagon driven by the aged Whistler man. Owes stopped his truck and assisted in placing Browning in the city ambulance which carried him to City hospital. Browming’s condition, on account of his age, was reported serious. A report of the accident was given Sheriff W. H. Holcombe by The Mobile Times and he immediately started an investigation under direction of Deputy Moore that resulted in the arrest of Owes.
