Apropos of the Merriam-Colvin wedding at North Adams, recently, the Troy Times contained the following item: “A trunk owned by Route Agent C. S. Colvin of the National Express company at North Adams, Mass., passed through the city this morning. Mr. Colvin was married recently, and his friends have endeavored to show in various ways that they honor the occasion. The trunk, wiiou it arrived in this city, was completely covered with old hats, white gloves, dilapidated unbrellas and numerous other articles, which were bestowed by appreciative friends in various parts of tuo country.”
