Carrie and Trenton PopeShaw-PopeCarrie Lynn Shaw and Trenton Eugene Pope, both of Ottawa, were married April 15h, 1995, at a candlelight ceremony at First Christian Church,Ottawa, with the Rev. Fred Schaeffer officiating.The bride is the daughter of James and Vickie Shaw, 1350 S. Mulberry. The bridegroom is the son of Douglas and Carolyn Pope, 1208 S. Elm.The bride, escorted by her father, wore a white Cinderella satin gown with a scalloped neckline with lace applique. The shoulders were layers of satin ruffles. The sleeves were lace applique with sequins. The bodice was decorated with lace, sequins and pearls. The back was open with a bow at the neck and waist. The full length skirt had rows of bows and ruffles. The cathedral length train also had bows and ruffles.The bride’s three-layer, fingertip veil, which she made herself, fell from a head band offlowers, pearls and sequins. Herji bouquet included orchids, white * and burgundy roses, stephanotis, pearls and ivy. It also featured, satin ribbons and pearls. I Sherry Watkins, Ottawa, was* matron of honor* Jennifer Shaw, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Keith Massengalet'j Rantoui, was the best man. Brett Pope, cousin of the bridegroom, was the groomsman. The candles were lit by Jennifer Shaw and Brett Pope. qNatalie Humerickhouse, Ot-w tawa, was the flower girl. Lucasij Humerickhouse, Ottawa, carried^ the rings. HFollowing a reception at the-, church, the couple stayed at the Westin Crown Center, Kansas^ City, Mo.
