Charles Jalonen Dies Monday In HancockCharles S. Jalonen, 69. South Bessemer, died Monday. May 7 atthe Copper Country Sanitarium tnHancock where e lad been a patient for two week*.He was born Dec. 10, 1S52 loLapin Pitaja-Turun Laaai, Finland.and came to the United Stateswhen he was 16 years old. He moved to a farm at South Bessemer and also worked in t e mines. He retired a number of years ago because of in health. He was hospitalized at Grand View Hospital Feb. 8 of this year and was transferred to Hancock April 20.He is surriTed by his wife, Amelia; a dang ter. Mrs. Arnold Mattson of South Bessemer; a son, Toi-ro of LaHabra. Calif.; three grandchildren; a sister. Mrs. Ida Saari of Wakefield, several nieces and nephews. Three brot ers, Victor Jokinen of Finland, Xestor Alto of Ewen and William Xunr.i of Kimball. WIs.. preceded him in death.Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p. m. at t e Frick-Zie-linski Funeral Home with the Rev. Oliver Hallbere offichting. Burial will be In Hlllcrest Cemetery.
