Led by the officiating clergyman, Rev. S. B. Groves, the party advanced among the waiting guests and grouped themselves under a canopy of lilac blossoms tastefully arranged atone end of the parlor. The service was brief and simple in character and at its close the newly married couple received many warm congratulations, good wishes and prophecies of future happiness, Then followed a bountiful wedding dinner and an hour or two of social chat. Late in the afternoon, the bridge and groom departed for Zanesville, from which point they expected to make a trip through Eastern and Northern cities. Among the guests from a distance were Mr. Oliver Orr and wife, Miss Florence Harvey, a former school mate of Miss Orr's at O. S.
