Taylor of Grccnwicli, Conn.The couple will be married Sun-t ay afternoon, June 4. the wed-oing anniversary of the bride’s patents, in an informal ceremonv on the terrace of the Me.xicbCountry Club.Miss Carter attended Flynn Fark School at University City, the University of Missouri elementary school in Columbia and the Mexico public schools through her junior year in high school, graduating from the high school department of Stephens college in Columbia. She later attended Missouri U, Columbia University in New York City and at present is doing specialtybvork in the Fashion Department at Stephens college as well as doing photographic modeling in St. Louis.She is a member of Kappa Alpha Phi and the Prince of Wales club at Stephens college.Mr. Slayton was graduated from the Fessenden School for Boys at West Newton, Mass., and later attended Northwestern Military and Naval Academy at Lake Geneva, Wis., and Exeter Academy at Exeter. Mass. Upon his graduation from preparatory school, ho entered Harvard University at Boston, Mass., where for three years he majored in International Law. He was chairman of the Harvard Jubilee, a member of the Hasty Pudding club and .social chairman of Pi Eta of which he was also a member.Formerly on the staff of the Portchestcr, New York “DailyItem,” Mr. .Slayton is now connected with the advertising department of KXOX Transit Pta-dio in St. Louis.
