Howerton-DobyApril Dawn Howerton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip A. Crawford of Village Road, Whitsett, became the bride of Keith Wayne Doby, son of Mr. and Mrs. Coy W. Doby of Delaney Drive, Burlington, Saturday at 2 p.m. at Lebanon Baptist Church, Greensboro.The Rev. Carl Shelton officiated, and music was by Nan Wall, pianist, and Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Johnson, vocalists.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown with pearls, a dropped waist, full skirt, and train with ruffles. Her headpiece was of pearls, and she carried a mixed bouquet of flowers.Wendy Howerton of Whitsett, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Tonya Bowman of Browns Summit, aunt of the bride, was matron of honor.
