Gowans of Erie, Penn. iThe wedding will take place in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 9, following the graduation of Mr. Gowans from the Brigham Young University on June 8. The couple will go to Erie for the summer, returning to Salt Lake City next autumn, where Mr. Gowans will register for a {i three lear law course at the Un-iiversity of Utah.Shannon is a former graduate of the Star Valley High School and is one of our most charming and beloved local girls. She met her future husband at the BYU 1 where she registered as a student last September.Her fiancee is the son of Mr.Iiana Mrs. Hoyd D. Gowans of i-.r.e, lormer Utahns. Mr, Gow-uns is pres.dent of the Erie dis-u\ct of the LDS church. The entire Gowans family will at-,enu the weudmg, remain.ng in uii ior a Uo weens vacation.
