LISBON — Kirk Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rolf An derson, was confirmed Sunday at the Grace Lutheran Church. A dinner was held in his honor at the home of his parents. Those attending were Mrs. Tillman Anderson, the Rev. and Mrs. Ralph Chelsea and family, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Benson of Leland, Mr. and Mrs. Al Weisenstein and family of Mr. Prospect, flowers. Laurie Nagel, niece of the bride, was flower girl. She was gowned like the bridesmaids and had flowers in her hair The mother of the bride wore a pink floor length gown and had a corsage of yellow roses and stephanotis. The bridegroom's mother wore a floor length gown in aqua blue and had a corsage of yellow roses and stephanotis. Paul Estensen, brother of the groom, was a best man. Groomsmen were Philip Truty of Mazon and James Johnson, brother of the bride. Ushers were Gordon and Wayne Johnson, brothers of the bride. Mike Nordengren was the ringbearer. Immediately following the wedding a reception was held in the church basement with Lou Ann Lunde registering the guests. Hostesses were Doris Akre and Martha Truty. Cut ting and serving the wedding cake were Sheila Johnson and Vicki Johnson. Laurie Brown served the punch and Betty Anderson the coffee. Assisting were Lisa Anderson and Connie Johnson. A special guest was Anton Anderson, maternal grand father of the bride. Following a wedding trip to Wisconsin the couple will reside at 200 East St. Newark. The new Mrs. Estensen is a graduate of the Newark High School and is employed at Farmers Insurance Group in Aurora. The bridegroom is a Morris High School graduate and is employed at Caterpillar, Aurora. Pre-nuptial parties were given by (1) Mrs. Claire Peterson, Mrs. Mahlon Springer and Mrs. Harvey Larson (2) by Mrs. Tillman Anderson, Mrs. Rolf Anderson and Diane Estensen, (3) by Mrs. Tony Glover of Aurora, (4) Mrs. Robert Nordengren, and (5) by Mrs. Nagel, Mrs. Gordon Johnson, Mrs. Wayne Johnson and Mrs. Don An derson.
