'Sunday afternoon- a second reception was celebrated at the Andrew Neppl home In nonor of the wedding of Henry Neppl to Mies -Mary Snyder. About .sixty relative? and friends were present. The afternoon was spent in playing games, singing and music and a game of baBe ball was played. The game had to bo called in the 12th, with the score a tie 2to 2 on account that the participants were beginning to get wet inside as we’! at on the outsicie. P. J. Snyder and E. Snyder staged a genuine pitching duel. Each allowed; 4 i hits, were wild at some stages but I pitched air tight hall In the pinches. P. J. Snyder struck out 4 of the opposing batters in one inning. He said they wouldn't have got a hit ifhe had been pitching in the dark. Well we bet there were some mighty i lame men the next day. All -pres- * eat reported, a most enjoyable time. Mr. and 'Mrs. Henry Neppl left on a • wedding trip Tuesday for South Dakota and North Dasota after which they will reside on a',farm he-; longing to his father near Clement, : North utkota. !
