One son Clifford was born to thisunion.Mrs Meurrens had been an arthritic cripple for 25 years, and on March 24, 1969 she fell and broke her right arm. She spent four and one half months in hospital, undergoing surgery on her arm and a steel plate was put in. After this operation she developed a heart condition, which hospitalized her on April 7.
