nelen lalbot Married to Milwaukee Man SaturdayIn a charming wedding at Palm S i ri n g s Community church on Saturday afternoon. Helen Talbot was married to H. R. Perlick of Milwaukee. They exchanged their vows before Dr. James H. Blackstone Jr.The bridal gown was a bal-lerina-longth of pale blue Chantilly lace and taffeta with se-quined bodice, worn with a blue lace hat. trimmed with pearls and sequins, and a three tiered, shoulder length veil. She carried a white Bible with two orchids and blue streamers.Attending the brine as matron of honor was her daughter Chris Haskell, a n d Beulah Broadwell and Peggy D'Auvray were bridesmaids. Candis Lee Davis, three and a half year old grand niece of the bride, was the flower girl.Serving as best man was the bridegroom’s brother • in - law. Gustav Spankus of Milwaukee. Ushers were the bride’s two brothers. Bud and Babe Broad- : well, and Graham Dexter. Also j in the wedding party was her i son Bud Talbot.Following the wedding, a reception was held on the lawn at Howard Manor.About 37 attended the wedding supper afterwards in the Howard M anor diningroom, where a U-shaped table was adorned with vari-colored flowers. Sparkling burgundy and wedding cake added to the festivities.Highlighting the supper was the singing of Chris Haskell, who leaves this month for Hollywood to study voice.The bride has bt'on social director at El Mirador this season and the bridegroom is president of the Perlick Brass company of Milwaukee.They left Monday night by plane for Las Vegas. After a short stay there they will go on to their city home on Sherman Boulevard in Milwaukee and will spend the Summer at their Pine Lake estate.
