Mary Jo Esser Weds—Mary Jo, only daughter of Mr.* and Mrs. Otto A. Esser, was united in marriage to Robert D. son of Mrs. Lucille Kirkpatrick of Wesley on May 1, at St. Gertrude’s Catholic church at Chicago.The Rev. James L. Killgallon officiated at the nuptial high mass.The wedding gown, designed by the bride’s mother was made of white brocade satin fashioned with a junior train bustled in the back. The high neck was trimmed with imported French lace and the sleeves were Gibson girl style, the same lace being used on them.A full length veil,sedged in lace, was arranged on a seed pearl crown. The bride carried white carnations on a prayer book.Coletta Forsberg of Algeria was bridesmaid. She wore a blue taffeta gown with white lace long gloves and a blue net blusher. Her flowers were pink and white carnations.Roy Hoffman,. student at St. George’s in Chicago, served ar best man.'A reception was held at “Wag-tayle’s” party' room with the immediate families and close friends as guests.
