South BostonSOUTH BOSTON, May 6.—The quota of “E” Bonds for May for Halifax county has been set at §40,000.00 and the responsibility of meeting this quota will rest on the women of the county. Mrs. E. H. Lacy will serve as general chair- ' man, working in cooperation with Dr. W. B. Barbour, administrator, Halifax County War Savings Staff.Mrs. Lacy has called an organization meeting for Wednesday afternoon, May 5th, at 5 o’clock in the Municipal Building in South Boston.
