Miss Renata Wurzbach, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Wurzbach, and Harry Hungers, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Bongers, were united in marriage in a beautiful ceremony, Thursday, April 28, 1938, at b:30 P. M. in Zion’s Lutheran Church. Rev. A. H. Falkenberg, pastor, officiated. The church was attractively decorated with roses, lilies and ferns. Prior to the ceremony, the bride’s sister, Miss Tusnelda Wurzbach, sang “At Dawning”, accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Fred Wernette who also played the nuptial music.The bride was given in marriage by her father, and was attended by Mrs. C. C. Bippert, matron of honor, and Mrs. E. C. Huegele, Miss F.rna | Wurzbach, and Miss Thelma Bongers, i bridesmaids. Melvin Bippert was] ! ringbearer.The bridegroom was attended by , Arthur Bongers as best man, and ' Theodore Wurzbach and Herbert * Wurzbach, groomsmen.The bride w'ore the traditional i bridal costume of white satin, lace ; veil and orange blossoms. She carried ! a bouquet of calla lilies. The bride s attendants were gowned in white sheer frocks, trimmed in blue, with which they wore blue slippers and carried bouquets of blue cornflowers.A reception at the bride’s home followed the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. BongeVs then left on a wedding trip to Louisiana, the bride wearing a travel suit of beige with rust accessories.This paper joins in extending congratulation^ and best wishes to the newly wedded couple.
