BANCROFT - Rita Katherine DeGeeter and Larry E.Torkel-son were married in an II a,m. ceremony April 23 at St.John’s Catholic Church in Bancroft, The Rev, Msgr Joseph H* Schultes was officiating minister for the double ring nuptials.Two hundred guests attended the reception in the church hall following the ceremony,The bride is the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Screal DeGeeter of Bancroft, The groom Is the son of Mr. and Mrs, O, E. Torkelson of Sioux Falls, S. D, Susan DeGeeter of Des Moines, Iowa was her sister'smaid of honor and Deede Ger-loff of Sioux Falls was bridesmaid,James Vartder Woude and Delmer Koei, both of Rock Rapids, Iowa, were best man and groomsman respectively.The newlyweds are taking a wedding trip to the Southern states ind then will be at home in Sioux Falls where both are employed. The bride, a graduate of St. Joseph’s School ofNursing in Sioux City, Iowa, Isemployed at the Veterans Hospital* The groom is employed in the engineering department of the South Dakota Department of Highways,
