A gold and white color ochomo was carried out in decorations and also the lunch. They received many beautiful gifts and cards. Present were all their children: Mrs. Andrew Jepeen of Anita, Mrs. Peter Kil-len, Mrs. Elmer Rood, Mrs. Martin Rood and John Johnson, all of Exira. The couple has eight grandchildren, all present except one, Chester Rood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Rood, who is in service at the Corpus Christ! naval base. Mrs. Ingvardt Birk, a sister of Mr. Johnson, who with her husband celebrated their golden anniversary Feb. 18, and Mr. Birk were also presentMr. and Mrs. . Johnson were born in Denmark, Mr. Johnson coming to America in 1870 with his parents when five weeks old, and had lived on a farm west of Brayton since then, until they moved in 1882 to the farm on which they now reside. Mrs. Johnson came in 1886 and she and Mr. Johnson were married in Atlantic the next year. Both enjoy good health at their farm home.Imo and Elaine Kragelund gave several musical numbers. The grandchildren presented the Johnsons with a beautiful bouquet of cut flowers and corsages and Mrs. John Johnson had charge of the guest book.Present from a distance were: Messrs. and Mesdames Milo Pet-ersne and daughter, Harlan; Frances Hardwick, Des Moines; Harlan Gittins, Jens Winthers, La-mar Gardner and daughters of ■ i.Uai Rlrlt and Bessie. \ AAnita; Ingvardt Birk and Bessie, Delbert Eagen, John Wulf, J.
