Honored at PartyPfc. and Mrs. Carl Nurmi, who have spent a week visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Nurmi, were honored at a post-nuptial party held at the home of his parents. Approximately 75 relatives and friends attended Mrs. John Haan-paa entertained the group with poetry suitable for the occasion. Refreshments were served with a large wedding cake adorning the table as the centerpiece. Mrs Ida Lehto and Mrs. Charles Koivu were the hostesses. The honor guests received a purse of money and other gifts.Pfc. Nurmi has left for Texas, having been transferred fr m Camp Cooke. Cal. Mrs. Nurmi will remain (n Bay City with her parents indefinitely.
