Frederick |Richard A. Frederick, 91, of Rural Valley RDl, died Saturday in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.He was born April 10, 1896, in New York City to the late Philip and Zita (Mader) Frederick.He was a member of the Pleasant Union Lutheran Church, Kittanning RD5.Mr. Frederick was a retired lieutenant from the New York City Police Department. He had served in Korea with the U.S. Department of Defense and with the Army at the 3 Mexican Border. He also served in the Navy from 1943 to 1945 and with the New York National Guard.Surviving are his wife, Winifred Frederick of Rural Valley; three sons, Richard of Vancouver, Wash., Frank of Plumville, and Philip of Dayton; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Philis) Fisher of Rural Valley and Mrs. Winifred Mathis of Springfield,Va.; and 14 grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a son, IWalter Frederick; two brothers, Philip and Frank Frederick; and Ifour sisters, Sophie Ulrich, Anna |Smith, Emma Lenz, and Theresa ( Frederick.1FREDERICK — Friends of Richard A.
