PROMINENT YOUNG MAN WEDSA pretty wedding of interest to Arlington people, took place Saturday, April 29, 1916, at the pleasant home of Mr. and Mrs. August Ueeker in Elkader, when their daughter Miss^ Delia M. and Zina N. Allen werejoined in the holy bonds of wedlock by the Rev. Pranke, Miss Marie Marks playing the wedding march. Immediately following the ceremony and the usual felicitations, the thirty guests were invited to the dining room where a delicious wedding feast was served. The bride wore a pretty white serge suit and carried a shower bouquet of brides roses and the groom wore a suit of dark blue. Altho the bride comes here a stranger, the groom is an Arlington boy who has earned the respect and friendship of all, he is prominent in both social and lodge circles and is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Allen. On account of the increasing business and poor health of his father, Mr. Allen will be hereafter found hustling at the Allen restaurant. Mr. and Mrs. Allen will be at home after June 1st.
