Mr. and Mrs. Jed Quentin GuthrieGuthrie and Grater marryNORMAL — Melanie Ann Grater, daughter of Robert and Jane Grater of Normal, became the bride of Jed Quentin Guthrie, son of Eva Guthrie of White Hall, on Nov. 22,1986, at the Calvary United Methodist Church in Normal. Rev. David Bultemier performed the ceremony.Lisa Neal was the maid of honor Bridesmaids were Kristine Ingle and Tamie Grater, cousins of the bride, and Trudy Barrowman.Rober Lee Fehr was the best man. Groomsmen were Dennis Ludwig, John Buehner and Kirby Ballard. Ushers were Michael Grater and Brian Motley.A reception at Carpenters’ Hall in Bloomington followed the ceremony.The bride attended University High School and Flamingo Beauty College. She is employed as a cashier. The groom attended Illinois State University and is employed as a supervising lab technician.Following a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico, the Guthries are residing at 176 E. Second St., El Paso, 111.
