Ray Sisson, ehair-*nan of the engineering department at Southern Colorado State College in Pueblo, said .he believed this was the first -time a major engineeringscholarship has been awarded .to a'woman. ,Sisson said Miss Dilley’s scholarship is the most coveted of the 14 awarded by Hie national society because it can be used at any college or univeristy accredited by the society. Miss Dilley also won an expense paid trip to the National Youth Conference of the - Atom : last OctoberPut a happy face on your Mother!Wedding vows were exchanged April 25 by Miss Sue Elaine Ansel and Thomas Calvin Zem-bower during a double ring ceremony performed in - the Centre Street Methodist Church bv Rev. Ernest Sort-ner.Organist, Mi's. Robert R. Gormer, accompanied Mrs. Olen Rembold, aunt of the bride.Mr. and Mrs, Ronald Ansel, 1310 Kentucky Avenue, are the parents of the bride. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Zemhower, Fairgo.Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a gown of organza and alencon lace with lace adorning the high neck, empire bodice and cardinal sleeves and forming a deep overlay on the slim silhouette skirt. The chapel train was embellished with laee.and organza bows. A hand-made headdress or matching lace-and pearls held a full bouffant veil of imported bridal illusion. She carried a white Bible with red roses and daisies.Miss Joanne Lagratta, this city, was maid of honor.Best man for his brother was Gary Zemhower. Ushers were Greg Zembower and Stephen Ansel, brothers of the bridegroom and bride.A reception followed at the Bedford Road Fire Hall.'Miss Kathryn Diehl cut the cake, assisted by Miss Sandra Ansel, sister of the bride. Miss Cheryl Ansel, also a sister of the bride, served punch. Mrs. Mary Schrader registered guests.For a trip to New York, the bride wore a double knit white dress with scoop neck, short slee*res and navy blue accessories. She also wore a corsage lifted from her bouquet.The bride is a graduate of Fort Hill High School and Cath-erman’s Business School and is employed by the Cumberland Savings Bank, White Oaks Branch.Mr. Zembower, a graduate . of Allegany High School and Allegany Community College, is employed at Kelly-Spring-field Tire Company and is a member of the National Guard.The couple resides at Pen-hursfc Avenue.
