Mr. and Mrs. Otto BrandtCarolyn Snyder, daughter of Mrs. Gertrude Snyder and the late Everett Snyder of Red Oak and Otto Brandt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Brandt of Hubbard exchanged marriage vows in the sanctuary of the First Methodist Church Sunday, April 14 at 4 p.-m, in the presence of 235 guests.The Rev. Cecil Wells officiated at the double ring ceremony. Jane Durey sang “Because” preceding the service and “The Wedding Prayer” as the couple knelt at the altar. Mrs. Carma-lita Cozad was the organist.The church was decorated with candelabra, baskets of white gladioli, mums and Easter lillies. The candles were lighted by Jerry Bulter of Eldora and Ron Klem-me of Hubbard.The bride, escorted to the altar joy her brother-in-law, Richard Harrell, wore a wtiilTIoor length gown of silk organza and lace, with an aisiewide lace train. Her veil was attached to a half hat of pearlized roses and she carried a bouquet of white roses with a removable white orchid corsage.Jeanne Harrell, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor and Diane Danielson of Marathon, Gail Atkinson of Red Oak andBetty Brandt of Hubbard were bridesmaids. All were attired in dresses of aqua silk organza over taffeta and they carried colonial bouquets of white roses and carnations. Headpieces were rhinestone tiaras. Jayne Harrell was flower girl.Richard Winter of Hubbard served as best man and groomsmen were Rex Kuhlman, George Blohm of Hubbard and Pat Murphy of Red Oak. Bobby Bloom-quist was ring bearer and ushers were Larry Brandt, Ron Klemme of Hubbard, Vance Rasmussen of Waterloo and Jerry Bulter of Eldora.Mother's DayAndMr. and Mrs. Wayne Shapcott of Emerson and Mr. and Mrs. Fenno West of Red Oak were hosts and hostesses at the reception honoring. the couple immediately -following the ceremony.
