W F Locke, uastor of the liookviilo Methodist Episcopal ohuroh South, at the home of the minister. They reached Rockville about 4.30 o’clockaud proceeded to the Moutgom ery Hotel, where the young lady remained, while Dr. Thiede visited the UourthOQse opposite for the license. This was quickly obtained and the two strolled slowly uptown in search of the minister. Dr Locke was found at home and the oeremouy was soon over. Immediately afterward Dootor and Mrs. Thiede left for Washington. Every effort was made by the groom to keep the marriage quiet. The clerk who issued the license was uncommunicative and would toll nothing in regard to it, having been asked to keep mom. The ofll-oiatiug minister also promised to Hay nothing and it was only after persistent effort that the fact of the marriage was learned yesterday morning.
