WEDDING BELLS.Miss Emma Johnson has been visiting her sister, Mrs, P. A. Edquist. since Christmas. She was going back to Omaha, but did not wish to travel alone any longer, so she consented to be joined in wedlock with Mr. C. A. Johnston, from Omaha, and Thursday eve last week they were married in the Swedish Lutheran Church, Rev. P. A. Edquist officiating. The church was handsomely decorated with green and flowers, two flower arches, one in the center of church and one at the altar railing, and the pulpit was bedecked with flowers. The bride wras dressed in white and ornamented with wreath, veil and flowers. Mary Jern, Sofia Sandquist and Polly Streed were brides maids, and C. W. Slattengren, Dr. Johnson and C. O. Dalin were groomsmen. The reception by Rev. and Mrs. P. A. Edquist was quite large, about 60 being present, and the gifts were numerous and valuable. At 8:30 a neat supper was served. The party passed the eve in agreeable conversation and was entertained with delightful music. The eve was closed with cripture reading and prayer.Among the guests we find the bride’s sister, Mrs. Rev, C. Wallecu, of Salina, Kas., and a half sister. Mrs. C. M. John son, of Odebolt, IaM Mrs. Osterholm, of Clarinda, an intimate friend of Miss Johnson, Miss Anna Andersen, of Mt. Pleasant, la.. Miss Polly Streed, ol Burlington, la., and Dr. Johnson, ofOmaha.Last Monday on the noon train the newly-married couple started for theirhome in Omaha. On the way they will visit bis folks in Page county. May they enjoy life together and succeed it their efforts to accomplish some good.* **
