Cloud. During the entire journey the royal bride had magnificent weather, and received tho most lively demonstrations of the joy of the population, flho wa? mijt at Peronne by the Duke of Nemours. The royal family was all assembled, and as soon as tho Princess srw the King, she bent her knee, but hi* Majesty raised her, and embraced her afftctlonately. All the ministers were presented Individually to the Princess, whoBe modest grace and remarkable beauty charmed every beholder.The event was celebrated at nine o’clock on Monday evening. When 1hat bout arrived, the King gave his arm to the Princess Victoria, the Queen took that of the Duke de Nemours, the King of the Belgians led the Duchess of Orleans, Duke Ferdinand Madame the Princess Adelaide; and thus, followed by the other princes and princesses of the royal family, the Inlhnto and Infanta of Spain, Duko Alexander of Wurtemberg, Prince Augustus of 8axe-Coburg, and the Invited guests, proceeded to the gallery, in tho middle of which was a table bearing the register of the Elat Civil. At a centre point were placed the bride end bridegroom. On the right of the Duke de Nemours stood the King his Ifuther, and the King of the Belgians; on the left of tho princess were Duke Ferdinand, her father, the Queen of tho French, and the Duohess of Orleans. The rest of the circle was filled by the other illustrious guests, except the point immediately opposite the bride and bride* gToom, which was occupied by the Chancellor, having on bis right the President of the Council of Ministere and the Keeper of the Seals, and lt;m Ills left the Grand UefeTendary and the Keeper of the Archives of ithe Chamber of Peers. The Chancellor, at the command of the King, read the civil act, and received the required declarations from the Duke de Nemours and the Princess Victoria, and then pronounced theta to be man and wife. The intry in the register hhvldg been signed by the prtlea and all the witnessed, the bride and bridegroom, accompanied by their Majesties and the whole of the august and illustrious company, proceeded to the chapel, where tbe nuptial benediction wan given by the Bishop of Versailles. There was no mass performed On this occasion.In honour of the marriage of tho Duko of Nemours, the King has completed the amnesty by the following ordinance ‘—“ Louis Philippe, King of the French, to all present ahd to come, greeting; We have ordained and do ordain as follows ;-i-Art. 1. The amnesty granted by our ordonnance of 8th May, 1837,Is extended to every Individual Condemned previous to the satd ortfonbaoee for political crihies and offences, whether they are or are hot detained in the prisons of the State.
