Hoeing-ScheidlerThe marriage of Miss Dorothy Scheidler, daughter of Mr. and i Mrs. Aloysius Scheidler, 128 West j First, Greensburg, and Carroll i Hoeing, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jo-j seph Hoeing, of R. R. 1, Milroy, | was solemnized at 9 a.m. Satur-| day in St. Mary’s Catholic church, Greensburg.Rev. Joseph Laugel officiated with the double ring service. Decorations were gold vases of yellow snapdragons and pews were marked with white satin bows.Mrs. Rita Rust, vocalist, sang “On This Day O Beautiful Mother,” “Ave Maria” and “Mother At Thy Feet We’re Kneeling.” Sister Armella Marie, organist, played the wedding march and the mass. Servers at the mass were Kenny and Johnny Scheidler, Jerry Schwendenmann and Marvin Peters.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white organza and alencon lace with lace bordered, scalloped neckline and fitted bodice which featured long pointed sleeves. The skirt, with chapel length train, was completed by an obi sash with bow and lace motif on the front panel. Her fingertip veil was caught with a crown of pearls and rhinestones and she carried the prayer book of her grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Stier, topped with a white orchid and lily-of-the-valley. Her pearl rosary was a gift of the groom.Mary Ann Welage, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and wore jonquil yellow peau polie designed with scoop neckline, fitted bodice, elbow-length sleeves and circular skirt trimmed with a rose on a bow in back. Her jonquil taffeta, pearl rimmed crown had a circular veil. Bridesmaids, Kathryn Meyer, another sister, Marita Koors, sister of the groom, and Susan Ricke were dressed in same style and color. All carried white carnations tinted with yellow and wore pearl necklaces and earrings, gift of the bride.Sheldon Hoeing, brother of the groom, was best man and ushers were James Scheidler and Marvin Hoeing.The bride’s mother chose light blue lace dress with navy accessories and the bridegroom’s mother wore navy blue dress with white accessories. Both mothers had shoulder corsages of white carnations tied with silver ribbon.A dinner was served at 12 noon in the Knights of St. John Hall for the immediate families and the reception from 2 to 5 p.m. was also in the hall. Appointments were seasonal flowers, streamers of white and yellow and white bells. A four-tiered wedding cake was surrounded by smilax and candelabra. Mary Jane and Susie Scheidler served at the dinner and Marlene Scheidler, Pattie Hubbard, Nancy Smith and Mary Fran Goodwin at the reception. Gifts were yellow aprons.The couple left on a southern wedding trip, the bride traveling in a brown and beige suit with brown accessories and the orchid from her bouquet. Their at home address will be 331V£ North Broadway.The bride is a Greensburg high school graduate and is employed with Chas. H.
