Announcement Party.One of tbe most enjoyable social iveuts of the season was the an-aouucem mt party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Loomis in Dallas Ciry list Wednesday evening, the affair having been gotten np in honor of Miss Edna Oukman, announcing her coming marriage to Charles Hamilton, formerly manager of the Dallas t^ity Creamery,now of Oconum/^, Wisconsin,where ha holds the position of chemist in a large creamery establishment.The function was given by Mrs, Loomis, teacher of the young ladies Sunday School class of the M. E. church of which Miss CXtkman is a member; she has also been faithful in the performance of her duties as pianist for all services whore music was required.A delectable three course luncheon was served, the surprise of the evening being reserved for the last, or walnut course, which explained to the guests what it all meant: English walnuts neatly encircled with pink ribbon, on the inside of which was enclosed the announce ment of the marriage of Edna Oak-man, of Dallas City, 111., to Charles Hamilton, of Oconomowoc, Wis., to be solemnized May 15, 1917,
