NUPTIAL EVENTS.Happy Young People Plight Their Troth at Hymen's Altar, Wednesday.St John’s Catholic church was the scene of a pretty nuptial event. Wed nesday morning, when Miss Kathryn Louth became the bride of Mr. Luke Noonan. The wedding ceremony ws performed in the presence of a large nurriber Of relatives and friends of the young people. At 7.45 o’clock, Mr. Noonan led his bride-to-be up the al3le of the church to the altar where they were met by Rev. Fr. A. I. Hoeffel* who performed the marriage ceremony.\ As the bridal party slowly marched up the aisle, the strains of Mendelssohn's wedding march floated from the choir loft and reverberated to all parts of the church. The music was furnished by Frank Louth and Jos. Louth, brothers of the bride.While the wedding ceremony was be-[ lug performed, Messrs. Louth softly f played “Apple Blossoms,’’ and while the , j young couple were receiving the blessing, the ‘Prayer,’’ from Frei Schoetz j was given,, and Mr. and Mrs. Noonanr ‘ , ji ____9 flk a i . 4 a t V» n of rain jdeparted from the church to the strains of “Scenes That are Brightest.’’The attendants were Miss Edith Louuh, sister of the bride, and Mr. William Noonan, brother of the groom. The bride was becomelngly attired in a gown of soft white Persian lawn, ^wlth dainty trimmings of lace, and wore a white hat to match her costume. She carried a prayer book. The bridesmaid was gowned in a pretty dress of white lawn, with pink and white hat. j oAfter the wedding ceremony. the ! l bridal party was taken to the home tlt; of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. d Henry Louth, on south Bredelck street, where they received the congratulations and best wishes from their friends and relatives. At noon a wedding feast was served only the Immediate relatives being present. Prunella .and Laura Louth, Elizabeth Kerchner, Misses Amelia and Gertrude Otte, of Ottovllle, received the guests and served the wedding dinner.The filning room in which the dinner was served was prettily decorated with fragrant blossoms and eml-lax, the color scheme being pink and white. Suspended over the center of the tables was a huge bell of pink and white flowers and greenery, and strands of smliax extended to the corners of the tables.The bride is a well known young lady of this city, who has made scores of friends by her pleasing manner, and In his selection of a bride, Mr. Noonan la to be congratulated Mr. Noonan is a young man of sterling qualities and popular with all his friends. He is employed in the oil fields qear Elidia*. Mr. Mrs. Noonan received many beautiful wedding presents of silver, linen, china, etc., from their friends.Mr. and Mrs. Noonan left, Wednesday afternoon, over the Clover LeaL at 1.42, for a trip to Toledo, Cleveland;, Buffalo, Nla gara Falls and other places of Interest. They will be absent about a week.
