REFUSED PERMIT TO WED*Mt. Sterling, 111., March 31.—On Wednesday County Clerk Gordley refused a marriage license to Al-He Hatch and Miss Helen Kallasch on account of the age of the bride, she not being 18 years old. On Thursday morning they left for Keokuk, Iowa, where they expected to secure the necessary permit and be married.
