Straighter, of Kendallville, twelfth district representatives of the State Highway commission, were in LaGrange Monday, conferring with the citizens of the town and particularly the officers of the Chamber of Commerce, concerning the O. I. M. way. They expect to take over the way on April 1, and will make such improvements as conditions will permit, such as grading and dragging the road through the county. This will be welcome news to the people who live adjacent to the road who have been put to great inconvenience during the past winter on account of the almost impassable condition of the road.Off for Ws Kington -George Omstead left Tuesday morning for Ellensburg, Wash., where he expects to reside at least for a time.
