Ditmire and Miss Ida May Whittenberger, daughter of Joseph 'Whittenberger, were united in marriage at the residence of the bride’s parents, six miles southeast of Rochester, Tuesday evening,March 30th, 1889, Rev. A. M. Work of Rochester, officiating. There was a large company of relatives and young friends of the contracting parties present. The young couple received hearty congratulations and some costly and beautiful presents, and all sat down to a very inviting repast. Mr. and Mrs. D. will make Rochester their future home and will doubtless prove worthy accession to society.
