Mrs Opal Berkshire and her granddaughter, Mrs Bobby B Childs Mrs. Childs presented Mrs Berkshirewhite organza, miniature white carnations and ivy showered with white satin ribbons tied in love knots A removable corsage of carnations and white roses centered the fxmquet.Serving as matron of honor was Mrs Karen Culp ol Indianapolis, sister in law of the* bride Also attending the- bride were Mrs Anna Jane Shriver of (irafton and Miss Donna Jurick of Clarksburg They were attired in identical dresses of seafoam green dacron dotted Swiss over peau de soie taffeta Each of the floorlength gowns was fashioned with a slightly gathered skirt stitched to an empire waistline enhanced by a velvet bow trim and ribbon tie belt A stand-up collar and long sheer sleeves gathered to a wide cuff completed the bodiceEach of the attendants wore on her head a double Dior bow with circular nose veilThey carried fireside basked bouquets of mixed daisies corn flowers, carnations and stock shaded in purples yellows and pinks and tied with green ribbonEverett Bowling of Pineville, a college roommate of the bridegroom, served Lt Weaver as best man His other attendants were Bob Coffman of (irafton and Richard Ira Culp of Indianapolis, brother of the bride.The mother of the* bride was attired in atwo-piece aqua ensemble with matching hat. black patent accessories and a corsage of white carnations and daisiesThe bride's grandmother. Mrs Jessie Culp, wore a light green jacket dress with black accessories and a pink carnation corsage.The wedding reception held in thesocial room of the church was served bv the («ood Fellowship Group of the church The main serving table was covered with a white cloth topped with green net and tied at the corners with wedding bells The table was centered with a three tiered cake frosted in white and green and featuring a heart shaped ornament containing doves and two wedding rings Crystal candelabra and w hite candlescomplemented the rest of the table Thegreen mints were made bv Miss (iracie0BosleyLt and Mrs Weaver used an heirloom cake knife belonging to Mrs Patty Gonzales to make the initial cut of the cake Serving the cake was the bride s aunt Mrs Evelyn Bowman and Mrs CF. Lunceford.The bridegroom’s aunts. Miss Ruth Morris and Mrs Robert White, poured punch Serving coffee were the bride's aunts Mrs Lee Blaney and Mrs Bruce Blaney both of Morgantown Aides were Carole Blaney and Shelley Shultz cousins of the bride and Janet Weaver, thebridegroom’s cousin Mrs Lorraine Shultz.
