Special Correspondence.Eastman, I. T.. Mar. 28.—The wen-• .(her is unusually cool and there has been some ice for the last two mornings; although the gardens and corn do not show the effect of any frost.We have had a good rain here and the farmers are well up with their work. Several are talking of planting cotton..Misses Ltiella, Jennie and Ida Epps are visiting today at the home of Mrs. Mains.Mr. and Mrs. Carlton gave the young people a social entertainment which all appreciated.Mrs. Addie Harrison and Miss Viola are visiting at Ed Straugn’s today.George Isaac and Mrs. Carlton were quietly married on the 24th at the' home of the bride.The health of our community is reported as improving some.
