Gardner-MidfordIn an 11 o'clock double ring ceremony at St. James Church, Manchester. Denise Beth Midford, daughter of Mr. and Ms. Rodney W. Midford, Pinnacle Rd., Ellington, became the bride of David Michael Gardner, son of Mr. and Ms. Francais E. Gardner, Oak St., Manchester.Matron of honor was Ms. Doreen Midford. Manchester. and bridesmaids were Hope Lang, Weston, Vt., and Michele Boucher, Ellington.Kimberly Midford was flower girl.Ernest Harlow served as best man. Ushers were Ron Midford, Gil Midford, and Mark Midford, all brothersof the bride.Following an afternoon reception at the Hartford Club, the couple left on a wedding trip to Bermuda.The bride, a graduate of Miss Farmer's Culinary Schooi. Boston, Mass., is a chef for Szabo Foods at United Aircraft, East Hartford.Gardner is a sales representative for Butterfield's,Manchester.The couple will make their home on Winter St., Manchester, sometime after the wedding trip
