CENTERVILLECarrying out a St. Patrick's day scheme the Harmony club enjoyed a happy afternoon at the home of Mrs. Millie Peterson. A very interesting talk “Should My Child Obey Me,” was given by vice-president. Mrs. Dixie Brown. Five hundred pinochle were played with Mrs. Eleanor Zcsizer and Mrs. Effic Rigby winning high and low prizes A lovely St. Patrick's day luncheon was served to the gay young matrons, Mildred- Barber, Dixie Brown, Julia Jacobson, Dora Major, Nellie Pratt, Inez Randall,iiffic Rigby, June Smith, Kay Shcl Ion, Ma,xine Tingey Eleanor Zcsi-jer and hostess, Millie Peterson.Mrs. Lizzie Roliins Barlow of Burfcy, Idaho, has leased her ionic in Centerville to Mr.. Neils tnd family moved into the same-ast week.Roy W. Manning, son of Mr. ind Sirs. James E. Manning of Farmington and* Miss Janice Enid Timms, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Timms, of Centerville’ were married in the Salt Lake temple, Wednesday, March 26. Anr informal reception was held at the home of the bride the same evening. A miscellaneous shower was given in honor of Miss Timms by Miss Joy Randall at the home of Mr. and Mr?. Harold Caldcr^ in Bountiful, Wednesday evening,March 19. Games were played anda very charming lunch was served. The following were prsent, besides the Jhonored guest: Miss Emaa Tin-gey, Miss Larcan Rigby, Miss Helen Rose, Miss Leah Pettit, Miss Jennie Barber, Miss Marie Smith, Miss Josephine Miles, Miss Betty Brown, Miss Nadine Stcnberg, alii of Centerville; Mrs. Galan Morgan; and Miss Veula Bone of Salt Lake • City. The hostesses, Miss Joy-Randall, her mother, Mrs. Roy Randall, (Miss Donna Reeves Miss-. Mclva Barber, Miss Sanone Hart and .Miss Mary Holmes were not able to be present.) A miscellaneous shower was given by Miss Timms’ mother-in-law, last Saturday.
