MARRIED IN KENTUCKYAlma Yaw ter Became Bride of Ed- i ward Welntraut on Saturday. , | 1' I ,Miss Alma Vawter, age IT., da.igh- ( ' r of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Vawter. of Waldron, and Edward Weintraut. a i son of Mr. and Mrs. George Weintraut. of Waldron, were married in Kentucky on Saturday, according toian announcement made today.The couple came to this city on Friday and attempted to secure a license but when refused by county clerk Gordon Thurston, when he learned that the girl was not yet sixteen years of age. One of the parents of the giri accompanied the couple to this city to give his consent, but the law's of Indiana provide that the girl must be sixteen before she can secure a license with her parents’ consent.The couple will make their home with her grand-mother, in Waldron, for the time being.
