Kraetsc hman of Valley Stream, N Y and the bridegroom is the son of Mr and Mrs Stephen E, Schroeder of Cotulla, He is the grandson of Mrs. Whynama Hutchins and the great grandson of Mrs. Viola Pendleton, both of Stephenville.The bride’s gown was white nylon, trimmed at the hem with lily of the valley lace. Her headpiece was a crown of lily of the valley lace with a cathedral length nylon tulle veil. Y. Bridesmaids were cousins of the bride: Iaurie, Susan and Penny Lonardo of Sayville, N Y. Maid of honor wore an emerald green gown, and the bridesmaids wore light blue dresses.Best man was Charles F. Kraetschman, brother of the bride. Ushers were Anthony Lonardo, Jr., Edward Valla-rella Jr., cousins of the bride and Richard Brewer.The bride’s mother wore a brown chiffon gown and the bridegroom’s mother wore a V-necked green chiffon dress with a sheer cape.The church was decorated for Christmas with pots of red poinsettias. Edward D. Fidler played the organ.The reception was held in Carl Hoppl’s Valley Stream Park Inn. A three piece band played “Annie’s song” by John Denver for the bride and bridegroom’s first dance.The Schroeders live in the Annex apartments in Stephen-ville. The bridegroom is circulation manager for the Stephenville Empire Tribune. The bride works part time.A miscellaneous shower was given for the bride and bridegroom in mid-December by Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Schroeder of Yorktown, the bride’s grandparents.
