Makaryk-Soergel Vows ToldMiss Sue Makaryk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Makaryk of 325 Hubbard St., became the bride of Leslie Soergel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Soergel* of 556 Michigan Ave., at a double ring ceremony in the First English Lutheran Church Tuesday night.The Rev. Raymond W. Bartels, pastor of the church, performed the ceremony. Attending the couple were Miss Lucy Smith and thegroom’s brother, Lee Soergel.The bride chose for her wedding a light beige tweed suit, which was complimented by beige and brown accessories, white gloves and a corsage of white orchids. She also wore a single strand of pearls.Miss Smith wore a mint green suit with black accessories. Her corsage was a purple orchid.Immediately after the ceremony, the newlyweds left for a short honeymoon in northern Michigan The groom departed Friday for Boston, where he is stationed with the Navy.His bride will reside at home with her parents until his return. She is employed at the General Telephone Co. as an operator.
