Tech Students Marry Levelland ChurchLEVELLAND (Special)—Double ring wedding vows were read at 7 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Fred Brewton in First Methodist Church for Miss George Evelyn Roberts and James Ronald (Jimmy) Johnson.Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Burnett Burk Roberts and Mr. and Mrs. Homer W. Johnson.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white peau de soie gown fashioned with a portrait neckline which was traced with simulated pearls. Her princess styled long-sleeved gown was complimented by a mid-Victorian back sweeping into a full court train. Her bridal bouquet was of stephanotis centered with an orchid.Her matron of honor, Mrs. Burk B. Roberts M, wore a waltz-length gown of copen blue organzine chiffon. The princess empire lines were accented by a boat neckline and tiny cap sleeves fashioned of lace.The bridesmaids, Miss Susan Veltman of Houston, Miss Thetis Foust of Morton and Miss Gay Johnson of Midland, sister of thebridegroom, wore gowns of bluemist organzine chiffon identical to the matron of honor. They wore matching hats fashioned of shirred circlets of tulle. Eachattendant carried a caUa lily.John Phillips was best man. Candlelighters were Jimmy and Burk Lattimore. Ushering duties 'ere assumed by John Matthews f Graham, Hillry Ranson andBurk B. Roberts III.Wedding music was given by Mrs. A. L. Walsh, organist, and Miss Marilyn Campbell, soloist.A reception followed the wed-ding ceremony in the home of the bride's parents. Music was played by Miss Lutine Harris and Miss Marsha McNeil registered guests. Other members of the house party included Mrs. James Lattimore, aunt of the bride; Misses Sandra Allison and Dewitt Rush and Mmes. Herbert Jackson. C. M. Phillips, H. R. Joplin, Percy Cole and HowardShaw.For her wedding trip the bride wore a green Italian raw silk dress. After a short wedding trip the couple will be at home at 3604-A 34th St. in Lubbock.Mr. and Mrs. Johnson are enrolled as sophomore students at Texas Tech. The bride is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and her husband nr a member of Sigma Alpha Upsflonfraternity.Panama cut Import taxes eababy foods.
