The marriage of Carl M. Laite to Ida S. i^tadheira was solemnized in the Lutheran church last Wednesday evening, Itev. O, H. Smeby, raster of the church, officiating. Miss E nma Stadheim, a sister of the bride, acted as tnaid of honor with ttie Misses Knutson and Dyidahl as bridesmaids, whi'e the groom was supported by Olaf Styve. Following the ceremony ti e bridal party and friends repaired to the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs A .1. Stadheim. on South l\ arl street where a reoepnon was held in honor of the newly wedded couple. 'The house decorations were ca nations, roses and smilax and made a very-beautiful appearance. The presents received wvre numerous and a fitting token of the high esteem in which the young people are held lioth are too well and favoratdy known here to needany especial comment. The bride being the accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. 4 Stadheim and up to a short time before .her marriage li led the important position of bookkeeper and cashi r at the Albert Lea Mer. Co. store The groom has for several years been connected with S. S'rauss’ large clothing store here and has a large retinue of friends in the city and sur rounding coqntry.
