—The coming of the cooing days of gentle springtime has greatly increased the marital market, and during the past few days the following parties have been licensed to marry: Earle E. Plough and Lottie B. Shamp, George A. Henry and Elizs-abeth Miller, George W, Polly and Cora M. Gamby, Charles M. Walters and Mary N. Johnson.—Yesterday, at the residence of Mr. G. W. Adamson in Richland township there was quite an accident. The smokehouse was discovered to contain more fire than was necessary for the successful smoking of the meat. Mrs. C. Adamson went with a bucket of water to extinguish the flames, and as she opened the door the fire burst out, badly burning her face and arms.—Earle E. Plough and Lottie B. Shamp, ‘of Akron, were united in marriage last evening at the residence of the bridegroom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Madison Plough. Earle has beef engaged in the tonsorial business for some time at Akron,and by temperate habits and industry has so far made a success in the affairs of life. The marital vows were properly solemnized by Rev. E. J. Delp.
